Business Process Analysis
There are many reasons to analyze and redesign an organization’s business processes… minimize inefficiency and waste, move to best practice operational standards, strengthen internal controls, or as a pre-cursor to a system implementation. Regardless of the reason, Bullpen's SAVE approach can be adapted to fit your needs.
- Scope
During the scope phase Bullpen team members interview key stakeholders in the organization to understand specific goals and objectives and to prioritize desired changes. Consensus key performance indicators (“KPIs”) are developed to quantify success and to enable effective measurement of progress throughout the engagement. - Assess
The assess phase includes the creation of “current state” versus “optimal state” visual flows and process documentation. Bridging “current state” and “optimal state” allows process gaps and necessary internal controls to be readily identified. - Validate
Utilizing the pictorial views of existing and desired processes developed in the Assess phase, Bullpen personnel and key organization stakeholders Validate initial goals and objectives and measurement metrics. - Execute
The Bullpen team plays a number of roles during the Execution or “go-live” phase including full project management. KPI reporting is finalized and integrated into a continuous evaluation and improvement process.
